• If you’ve invested in PV you will be aware that the export rate for electricity is so low that it is better to consume as much of the generated energy as possible.
• It doesn’t affect the generation element of the feed in Tariff payments and the export tariff is also unaffected for most UK households as most electricity companies do not measure export but assume it to be 50% of the total generation.
