Itchen Electrical Services, based in Segensworth, recently took a significant step towards sustainability and cost savings by installing a 12.74 kW solar PV system designed and installed by Orange Solar Systems Ltd. These high-efficiency panels convert sunlight into DC electricity, which is then converted to AC electricity by a Fox ESS H3 10kW 3ph Hybrid Inverter. A Fox ESS EP11 10.36kWh Li-ion Battery system was also integrated to store excess energy for use during periods of low sunlight or at night. The Renusol Metasole mounting system, designed for trapezoidal sheet metal roofs, ensured a secure and optimised installation.
